Photos & Thanks from Tuesday's Show with The Rough & Tumble and Nikki Talley & Jason Sharp

Folks? We did good with this one. And by "we" I mean all the outstanding volunteers who helped us pull off our latest show, all the music-lovers who came out... and the performers themselves, without question. Mallory Graham and Scott Tyler arrived in town first with Butter, The Rough & Tumble's travelin band dog, followed by Nikki Talley and Jason Sharpe. All four (plus Butter) were on stage all evening as they traded the spotlight and sang their original music for us. With some fun covers thrown in as a bonus! We even had the good fortune of hearing our friend Brad Spencer, who joined The Rough & Tumble on the mandolin on one song! Very good stuff...

Enjoy some photos with us below! Just click the thumbnails to be directed to a lightbox view. You may have already seen some of these shots on Facebook, but they're mixed in with some never-before-seen shots, too.

There's simply nothing bad to report about this night! The audience was enthusiastic and appreciative, the food was good, the music was spectacular, and the atmosphere was ideal. There's nothing like the feeling of a community of people coming together (always, but in this case, at The Creative Center) to nurture each other with the arts at the center of the gathering.

We'll keep doing better on the lights as we move forward, (and as a result hopefully the footage will improve, too. Yes. I've said this before. We're not giving up,) but you just can't beat that sound.

If you came out, thank you, deeply.  If you missed it, we'll have an announcement soon about a show in the second half of June. Maybe you'll join us then! And either way, we hope you'll check out the bands on their websites and other online venues. These guys are talented, folks. Seriously talented. How fortunate for us that they're also just incredibly nice people and fun to be around!?
